Founded by Sameer Kulkarni in 2013, Sameer Kulkarni Design is a one stop shop for design and build solutions. Since then, he has successfully transformed residences and offices into the spaces his clients envisioned them to be with the help of his team of artists and artisans. He thrives on the belief that the space belongs to the person who will be living, playing, dining or working there eventually. The endeavor is to understand the dream, see what you see (much more, of course) and make the dream come true.
THE FOUNDER
Sameer Kulkarni was born in a middle-class family in suburban Mumbai. He grew up like many other 70’s Indian kids playing cricket, cycling in the vicinity and walking around barefoot. With both parents working, he spent most of his time with his grandparents. His grandfather was the Filmfare award-winning art director of classic Hindi cinema like Pakeezah & Razia Sultan. Since I’m not based in India, all design discussions were on Skype. It is a credit to Sameer that that he was available late India hours for these discussions. His team and he were absolutely trustworthy where they completed the work on time at no cost overrun.
